Dialogue[]
Go to the Market of Mirth via the Skypass[]
- Raggy: To the Market of Mirth! We'll ask Clown Nose Carson. As the famed storyteller king, he might know something!
Enter the Market of Mirth and find Carson[]
- Curly-Arch Frizzy: Ah! I-I-It's a human!
- Lazy Steps Sitty: Wow! It is a human! And a cat!
- Raggy: Nikki and Momo are really friendly. Don't worry!
- Raggy: Frizzy, why are you floating out here? Shouldn't you be playing Move & Groove?
- Curly-Arch Frizzy: No-No-No! Too much dancing... I'm exhausted... Resting now!
- Lazy Steps Sitty: The Skypass collapsed... I can't leave...
- Nikki: The Market of Mirth Skypass also collapsed? Something feels off here...
- Momo: Maybe they did this to stop us!
- Raggy: But with Nikki here, we can fix it! Let's go find Clown Nose Carson first. It would be great if we could find the Wish Collector at the Market of Mirth.
- Curly-Arch Frizzy: Ahhh! Clown Nose Carson? He's at the top of the Market of Mirth Stonetree. Though... only a Catapult Seal on a full stomach can launch a h-human up there!
- Lazy Steps Sitty: So then... go and find the Catapult Seal's feeder. He has lots of Whimfin Jerky, the Catapult Seal's favorite snack. When it eats enough, it will have the strength to send you!
- Curly-Arch Frizzy: But the feeder's been in a really bad-bad mood. He probably won't talk to you...
- Curly-Arch Frizzy: Though he really loves the Shoot-a-Scarecrow game. If you get him a prize from that, he'll feed the Cata-Catapult Seal for sure! That'll cheer him up!
- Nikki: Got it. So, first I need to go play the Shoot-a-Scarecrow game. I'll give the prize I win to the Catapult Seal's feeder to cheer him up. Then he should feed the Catapult Seal!
- Curly-Arch Frizzy: Tha-Tha-Tha-That's right!
- Lazy Steps Sitty: Good... luck...
Play Shoot-a-Scarecrow[]
- (after winning the game)
- Curly-Arch Frizzy: Aw-Aw-Awesome! The human is amazing!
- Lazy Steps Sitty: Amazing!
- Fluffytime Puffy: Oh, um, it's my first time seeing humans play this game. You're amazing... Uh, please accept this prize!
Talk to Feeder Piecey and feed the Seal Fae[]
- Elastic Hairtie Bobo: Aww! A little scarecrow! So cute!
- Elastic Hairtie Bobo: Pow, pow, pow, pow, pow! Thank you, human girl! You're a good human!
- Nikki: Then... Can you help me feed the Catapult Seal? We need to get to the top of the Market of Mirth Stonetree.
- Elastic Hairtie Bobo: Hmm... I really can't. Sorry.
- Elastic Hairtie Bobo: But... I can help send you a little higher. Once you're there, find Pridey the Catapult Seal feeder. Ask him to help. He can launch you again to reach it!
- Nikki: That's great!
- Elastic Hairtie Bobo: Pow, pow, pow! Good human! I'll go feed the Catapult Seal!
- (Get on the Catapult Seal)
- Nikki: Whoa, we're so high up! A full stomach makes a huge difference!
- Momo: But we're still far from the top of the Market of Mirth Stonetree. We've gotta find another Catapult Seal feeder to help.
Reach the top of the Market of Mirth and look for Carson[]
- Ever-Assured Pridey: Go away, Esselings!
- Ever-Assured Pridey: I'm... I'm the Catapult Seal caretaker!
- Nikki: The feeder is in danger! Let's go help!
- (Purify Esselings and rescue Piecey)
- Momo: Looks like the feeder's in that cave. Let's go find them!
- (Talk to the trapped Catapult Seal Feeder)
- Nikki: Don't worry. I've purified all the Esselings!
- Ever-Assured Pridey: R-Really?! Thank you for saving me! I knew it. I knew there would be kind-hearted humans passing by!
- Ever-Assured Pridey: The Esselings have been multiplying. They've been popping up all over! I lost track and got surrounded. Scared the life out of me!
- Nikki: It does seem strange. Things look a little rough here too.
- Ever-Assured Pridey: It's been tough lately, but I believe everything will be fine. As long as there's enough kind-hearted people like you out there.
- Nikki: Agreed. It's a beautiful world! Actually, we do need a favor from you. Could you feed a Catapult Seal, to get us to the top of the Market of Mirth?
- Ever-Assured Pridey: No problem. I'll go feed a Catapult Seal! It'll launch you right up there!
- (after reaching the top)
- Florasock Parker: Uncle Carson, finish the story... about that Weavespider that bit a big hole in a Piecey.
- Joybag Clark: No! No! Tell the story, about the stylist who wears shorts inside out!
- Clown Nose Carson: When there's a bigger audience, I'll continue those long stories. Today... Hmm... Ah! I've prepared a special story for my loyal listeners!
- Clown Nose Carson: For now... I'll tell a story yoooou've never heard!
- Parker & Clark: Okay!
- Clown Nose Carson: There was once a little girl who had a doll house. She loved the dolls very much, and all of her dolls, they loved her too.
- Clown Nose Carson: One day, a stylist with hair that was made of fire came to her doll house.
- Clown Nose Carson: Quickly he realized this wasn't the house he'd meant to visit. It was too late! His hair set the doll house ablaze. Everything turned to ashes.
- Florasock Parker: Oh... That's so sad.
- Joybag Clark: That wasn't a happy story.
- Clown Nose Carson: Shh, be patient.
- Clown Nose Carson: The little girl survived. She wanted her doll house back. So, she prayed to the gods. Until one god gave her a construction toy.
- Clown Nose Carson: The god said, "The toy and I, are one and the same!" And if she built it, it would make her wish come true.
- Greenmemo Mark: This god can't be The Wishing One. Making wishes come true is easy for Him.
- Strawhat Sleepy: Hmm... Yeah, yeah, the construction toy and the dolls. They make the story too complicated. Uncle Carson, did you just make this up?
- Clown Nose Carson: Be quiet! If you're so picky, go back to work at your Gliding Station!
- Greenmemo Mark: We can't work now, not with the Stoneheart issue, but we'll pipe down.
- Strawhat Sleepy: We'll be quiet! We'll be quiet!
- Florasock Parker: Uncle Carson, this story... It's not as good as the one about the stylist who wears their shorts inside out!
- Joybag Clark: Yeah! This one's boring. Come on, Parker. Let's go!
- Florasock Parker: Bye-bye! We're going to play Move & Groove.
- Strawhat Sleepy: Huh? But I still want to...
- Raggy: Uncle Carson!
- Clown Nose Carson: Hey, Raggy!
- Raggy: You've got to stop. Those stories about the flame hair... They're too scary.
- Clown Nose Carson: Maybe they'll learn. Otherwise, they'll all end up like you! Hahaha!
- Raggy: I was born this way! You haven't changed a bit. That's a relief. Oh, these are my friends, Nikki and Momo.
- Clown Nose Carson: A human girl and a large cat! You should know... I have a hard time making humans laugh.
- Share tricks
- Nikki: I'm actually pretty easy. I'll laugh at anything that rhymes!
- Nikki: Also, when a joke isn't all that funny but a lot of other people still laugh at it, I find it even funnier.
- Clown Nose Carson: Hmm... That's profound.
- Momo: Nikki's just easily amused...
- Weavespider nets are useful
- Nikki: A lot of jokes collect in Weavespider webs. Copy them down... You'll make humans laugh.
- Clown Nose Carson: Being a human storyteller king sounds pretty easy!
- Nikki: Well... If being a storyteller king was easy, everyone could do it.
- Momo: If eating BBQ was easy, there wouldn't be any BBQ.
- Clown Nose Carson: Haha! My jokes tend to draw from life. Luckily, my friends put up with me; otherwise, our lives would be less fun. By the way, Raggy, did you bring your friends here to hear my stories?
- Raggy: Not this time, Uncle Carson. But there's something we wanna ask you.
- Nikki: Have you seen the Wish Collector, Uncle Carson?
- Clown Nose Carson: Hmm... No. Strange though... I heard he's heading this way from the Golden Fields, but I haven't heard anything about where he's heading next.
- Greenmemo Mark: That is strange. It doesn't make sense.
- Clown Nose Carson: Did he take a secret path? Or maybe he left when everyone was sound asleep? I don't get it!
- Raggy: His job is to collect wishes. Why would he need to avoid people?
- Momo: Could he be...?
- Nikki: He might've become delirious! We need to find him quickly!
- Clown Nose Carson: Hurry up already!
- Clown Nose Carson: There's something wrong with the Stoneheart. If you know how to restore it, you can get to the next Stonetree Cluster. From there... you can see if there's any new information.
- Clown Nose Carson: There are two Gliding Stations at the Market of Mirth. One leads to the Choo-Choo Station. The other to the Stellar Fishing Ground.
- Clown Nose Carson: Based on the Wish Collector's usual collection route, he'll probably... go to the Choo-Choo Station first.
- (if the player hasn't restored the Stoneheart yet)
- Nikki: Thanks, Uncle Carson! We'll restore the Stoneheart right away. The same thing happened at the Golden Fields, but we've solved it there too.
- Greenmemo Mark: Huh?! You can really do that? I'll go to work at the Gliding Station. Once you restore the Stoneheart, find me there. I'll activate the Skypass for you.
- (if the player has already restored the Stoneheart)
- Nikki: That's great! Thanks, Uncle Carson! But... On our way here, we already restored the Market of Mirth Stoneheart.
- Greenmemo Mark: What?! If the Stoneheart is back to normal?! I'll go to work at the Gliding Station. Find me there, and I'll activate the Skypass for you.
Purify the Stonedew Flora in the Market of Mirth[]
- (Purify the Stonedew Flora west of the Market of Mirth)
- (If you talk to the Heart-Keeper beforehand)
- The Grand Gatsby: Ah! By the Silvergale, it must be fate guiding me to entrust you with this great task!
- The Grand Gatsby: Esselings have overrun the labyrinth and corrupted the core of the Stonedew Flora. Please do what you can to put a stop to this!
- Nikki: Don't worry! I'll handle both the Esselings and the Stonedew Flora.
- The Grand Gatsby: Such a brave young lady, I'm counting on you!
- (Purify the Esselings near the Stonedew Flora)
- Nikki: Purification successful! The Stonedew Flora has returned to normal. The Heart-Keeper can now collect Stonedew Nectar again, right?
- Momo: I just saw the Heart-Keeper at the entrance of the labyrinth! Let's go tell him the good news!
- (Talk to the Heart-Keeper)
- The Grand Gatsby: Oh my, you've cleared out the Esselings and restored the Stonedew Flora! That's amazing!
- Nikki: It was nothing. You should be able to deliver the Stonedew Nectar now.
- The Grand Gatsby: *cough* Actually, I have one more favor to ask. Could you help me find a few items needed for delivering the Stonedew Nectar?
- The Grand Gatsby: Brave young lady, I need your help finding a pair of gloves and a headscarf. With those, I can deliver the Stonedew Nectar!
- The Grand Gatsby: I lost my gloves and headscarf when I got distracted by some nearby straw bunnies, just like the ones around me.
- (Find the outfit part the Heart-Keeper lost in the maze)
- (if the player returns without anything)
- The Grand Gatsby: Brave young lady, I need your help finding a pair of gloves and a headscarf. With those, I can deliver the Stonedew Nectar!
- The Grand Gatsby: I lost my gloves and headscarf when I got distracted by some nearby straw bunnies, just like the ones around me.
- (if the player finds the headscarf)
- The Grand Gatsby: You're so quick! You've already found the headscarf. You only have the gloves left to go.
- The Grand Gatsby: I lost my gloves and headscarf when I got distracted by some nearby straw bunnies, just like the ones around me.
- (if the player finds a glove)
- The Grand Gatsby: You're so quick! You've already found one glove. You only have one more glove and the headscarf to go.
- The Grand Gatsby: I lost my gloves and headscarf when I got distracted by some nearby straw bunnies, just like the ones around me.
- (if the player finds a glove and the headscarf)
- The Grand Gatsby: You're so quick! You've already found one glove and the headscarf. We just have one more glove to go.
- The Grand Gatsby: I lost my gloves and headscarf when I got distracted by some nearby straw bunnies, just like the ones around me.
- (if the player finds the gloves)
- The Grand Gatsby: You're so quick! You've already found the pair of gloves. You just have the headscarf left to go.
- The Grand Gatsby: I lost my gloves and headscarf when I got distracted by some nearby straw bunnies, just like the ones around me.
- (Give the outfit part to The Grand Gatsby)
- The Grand Gatsby: My brave young girl, you found everything! Incredible! Let me just put these on...
- The Grand Gatsby: Excellent! Now I can now deliver the Stonedew Nectar. Thank you! I'll see you around!
- (Purify the Stonedew Flora north)
- (Purify the Esselings near the Stonedew Flora)
Return to the Stoneheart in Market of Mirth[]
- (Cutscene without dialogue)
- Momo: Nikki, we've gotta go to the Gliding Station that leads to the Choo-Choo Station. No wrong turns!
Activate the Skypass to the Choo-Choo Station[]
- Greenmemo Mark: OK, Miss Nikki. I'll open the Skypass for you now...
- Baldguard Shieldon: I'm Volunteer Corps Investigator, Shieldon. I'm on duty here. Under Article Eight of the Volunteer Corps Temporary Regulations, this road has been closed!
- Baldguard Shieldon: I repeat. No Pieceys or humans or felines are allowed to enter!
- Raggy: What?! I've never heard of that article!
- Baldguard Shieldon: We suspect a Faewish Sprite is hiding at the Market of Mirth with the help of a Piecey! Also, it's lost its ability to fly. The Faewish Sprite Detector reported it.
- Nikki: What?! A Faewish Sprite that can't fly?
- Momo: Could it be...?
- Raggy: But the Volunteer Corps should restore order at the Stonetree Cluster, not just trap everyone here to catch the Faewish Sprite.
- Baldguard Shieldon: Raggy, after all these years, have you qualified for the Volunteer Corps? If not, don't tell me what to do.
- Raggy: I... I'll be qualified soon!
- Baldguard Shieldon: Soon! But, that's not now.
- Baldguard Shieldon: I'll say it one last time. This road has been closed to stop the Faewish Sprite from getting to the Stonecrown! We'll lift the blockade... after the Faewish Sprite is caught!
- Raggy: This is an urgent matter, involving people's lives and heinous criminals. Reestablishing order should be the number one priority!
- Baldguard Shieldon: Catching this Faewish Sprite... I could've taken my time... Then you restored the Stoneheart. So now thanks to you, I'm buried in work!
- Baldguard Shieldon: Keep obstructing me from my duty, and I'll have to take coercive measures!
- Nikki: Raggy, I don't think we can convince him. How about we find the injured Faewish Sprite? I'm worried he's...
- Raggy: You're right... This guy is too rigid. When I join the Volunteer Corps, I'll do a much better job than him!
- Nikki: On the bright side, after we find the Faewish Sprite, he's sure to let us in!
- Momo: So, where should we look for the Faewish Sprite?
- Nikki: Any Pieceys that might have clues... would have to have seen a Faewish Sprite before...
- Raggy: Nikki, I've got it! Let's go ask Granny Oversleeves! She's one of the oldest Pieceys in Stonewoods. So she's been through many clashes with Faewish Sprites.
- Raggy: If a Faewish Sprite flew by, she might've been able to sense it!
- (if the player talks to Baldguard Shieldon again)
- Baldguard Shieldon: I repeat. No Pieceys or humans or felines are allowed to enter!
- (if the player talks to Greenmemo Mark again)
- Greenmemo Mark: Although I'd love to open the Skypass for you, the Volunteer Corps investigator has already said no, so we can't...
- Greenmemo Mark: The Abandoned District was once invaded by the Faewish Sprites... It was terrifying...
